My Story
Hello and welcome. My name is Jen, and I am pleased to be able to share with you a little about my journey to being a Reiki Practitioner.
My background is nursing in the NHS, which I am still doing after 37 years. My calling into Reiki healing came a few years ago when I was looking at a second career path, and now this whole new world of energy, and energy healing, has been opened up to me. It's incredible how improving energy flow can positively impact the body, mind and spirit. I remain in awe of the power of energy, and I feel blessed to be helping people in a practice that is so gentle, natural and healing.
What is Reiki?
I'm guessing that if you've found this site, then you must have some idea of what Reiki is, or are intrigued enough to find out!
Reiki is a Japanese word that means spiritual energy.
Reiki is a gentle energy healing practice that promotes balance, and relaxation. The origins of energy healing stretch back for millennia, but it was rediscovered by Mikao Usui, a Japanese buddhist, at the end of the 19th century. He taught the Reiki practice that is still used today.
Reiki is a gentle touch therapy that works on the life force energy that flows through all living things. Energy flow in the body can become blocked or stagnant for many reasons, and this imbalance can lead to psychological, emotional and physical issues. Reiki energy is used to help restore the flow and balance needed for self-healing, and improvement in well-being.
My Services
I offer face to face Reiki sessions in the privacy of my courtyard studio, in Yapton, West Sussex. Each session lasts approximately 1 hour. I also offer distant Reiki sessions for those who are unable to come to my physical location.

Distance: £25.00
Payment is by cash or credit card
Registrations
I am a member of the UK Reiki Federation and am fully insured. I have attained First Degree and Second Degree training and attunements that allow me to be a Reiki practitioner.
